There used to be a real old-fashioned diner (as in actually made from a dining car) where I grew up. It was open well into the 2000s and it seated maybe 20 people at the most, so there would always be people standing waiting for seats like this.
Such a telling image!!! So little regard for workers, jammed into tight space, hardly room to turn around --- and an impossible reach to put food on the counter! And pressure --- work fast, eat fast, customers are waiting!!!
