Had moderate shaking here (Hayward) and promptly reported it. Interesting how a lobe of higher intensity reached out this direction. Dublin/Pleasanton are mostly on sediment too in the valley there.

Yes I did. I am about 16 miles North of it. It was a slow roller (I have lived in NCAL many decades). Dogs were in my lap. One looked up as if to say “ do we have to get up”. Water sloshed in their water bowls. Decided not to move. There was a smaller one prior to it in Saratoga.

Lots of reasons people may feel little earthquakes (or not) including the type of building they’re in, the local rock and soil conditions and whether they’re sitting quietly or active!

A nice thing about having ShakeAlert: feeling an earthquake without an alert means “whew, just a smallish far-East Bay quake and not the Hayward Fault trashing the Bay Area”
Shook Concord pretty good, but it was brief.
