I think you need to purposely leave a space or two on each shelf… so that any new books don’t create a domino effect for finding the right spot!

I was just thinking I probably should do something similar. I’ve also been trying to purge my library as well. There are some books I’ve held on to for a decade or more & still haven’t read it. It’s time to let go.
