This follows intensive lobbying by farming unions in response to a relatively ambitious scheme.
The failure to do the right thing, at the time we need it most, will baffle future generations.

We need an industry, that makes forestry viable as it is in northern Europe, to get more woodland grown on farm land.

10 years ago direct drill were not prevalent , now they are more around , almost everyone is wanting to get a crop.
