They supported their claims for backdated pensions, the ombudsman found they weren't owed any because they did know of the changes to pension ages,and they suffered no financial hardship.

Then why campaign on it? Fund it by going after the people stashing money in tax havens. Fund it by closing the loopholes for corporate pirates. Fund it by accelerating the wealth tax. To start with we have the lowest pension in Europe. The ombudsman found in February that there was a significant number of women who were in intermittent, temporary employment or in caring roles who did not receive notification of any change or on low incomes and unable to plan for retirement.
