Despite damning evidence the govt clinging on to private ownership of water in England; people fleeced for 36 years. Prospect is sewage dumping, health hazards, lack of investment, higher domestic/business costs, tax dodges, asset-stripping. Public ownership is the only way out.

UK Govt AI copyright plan suffers fifth Lords defeat, 221 to 116 votes. Copyright enables many to earn a living. It is being ripped off by tech companies. All they need to do is to inform people, get a licence to use and pay. Govt says change might come in the future. I voted against the govt.

HMRC admits not collecting £40bn tax last yr. Others say over £100bn. Big accounting/law firms, banks mastermind tax dodges. Rarely prosecuted. No big accounting firm prosecuted; get govt contracts. Fewer than FIVE criminal cases brought in 2023-2024, 16 in 2018-2019. Govts chase little people.
