Try to make sure everyone uses a line connection as it’s always more steady than WiFi. I recommend getting each contributor to record the session on their phone (voice memos app is good for this) and then sending you the file to edit with. You can also set up Zoom to restrict audio bleed.

Happy to help with post if needed, just let me know.

Use an iPhone with a Smoothee handle if shooting handheld, or a tripod otherwise. Film mainly in close up so those viewing on their phones don’t have to squint. Shoot horizontally but frame for vertical. Use lava mics as decent sound will make a world of difference to the finished product.

Probably surplus info but I Newspaper owner and publisher are listed as Daily Mail and General Trust. It's probably the biggest trojan horse press operation there is.

Feels like the Dems are largely sleeping through this because they reckon they’ll benefit when Trump finally makes The Big Fuck-Up. Their calculated silence doesn’t do much for their credibility though; it’s tough to maintain the illusion of choice when both parties are aligned in times like these.

Then maybe everyone else needs to Luigi the fuck out of them.

Certainly looks a lot like calculatedly “flooding the zone with shit.”

And long may that remain the case.

Absolutely — well said.

“Primed and ready” to capitalise on any purported Reeves downfall is probably the last way I would ever characterise the Labour left.

It is, but it goes largely unchallenged whenever trotted out in the legacy media. Hence it’s taken root.

Exactly, there’s no difference between them, only some token illusions to help maintain the pretence of variety; they’re all run by the same vile people doing truly evil and disgusting things, because they can get away with it.

Hi Lucy. Are the shareholders of the arms manufacturing companies happy with the amount of school, hospital and pensioner energy bill money they’re getting from this, or would they prefer more? Better make sure they’re happy, as they’re your priority and probable future employer. Please let us know.

Reem is apparently permanently aghast/bordering on breathless like this literally every time she appears. I can’t tell whether it’s an act or if she genuinely believes in her own cause. It looks exhausting either way.

Well argued, Zack. Neither Reem or Vine properly understood what you were telling them, but you kept your cool while they fired flak at you. This is how every appearance is going to be. Rigging the panel against the socialist is the oldest trick in the book, as the host is always adversarial.

It’s beyond tragic that our own government has to be dragged kicking and screaming to do right by our environment, with zero certainty of success at any point. These people should be in prison, not in office.

Look at the bright side: at least you didn’t see Radiohead.

Agreed. But O’Brien is also part of the machine, albeit to a lesser extent. But your point definitely stands, and the News Agents is the most laughable client journalist claptrap going.

I’ll check out your review, but of those two I’d suspect corruption; American politics is utterly captured. If a Cyberdyne systems-type AI is the next global gold rush, the big American players would have been desperate for that big growth medium. But the mainstream media trail has gone cold.

One angle seemingly going almost totally unexplored is the fallout of the data theft; Musk allegedly had his goons steal all that personal data in order to train some kind of massive AI. It’s not been discussed much since it happened, so maybe it amounted to nothing, but we haven’t had closure yet.

You’ve got to admire the brass neck. The guy refuses to tax wealth adequately because he’s getting lobbied by Blackstone, and he wants to hand the country to BlackRock and Palantir and their mates. What a total clown car this government is. The Tories set the bar low but this lot still disappoints.

It’s the truth that cannot be spoken, particularly so in the context of The Guardian, who has done more to knife the working class in the back than almost any other rag going.

Labour says one thing but delivers the opposite, because Reeves is beholden to Thatcherism to the point where it’s genuinely unhinged.

That sounds very much like a “them” problem that they’re trying to turn into an “us” problem.

I was worried killing it stone dead forever would be a lot more difficult than that, so this actually comes as really good, welcome news.

He could have done the world a service if he’d simply keep his mouth shut while repeatedly punching himself in the balls for the last 60 years, nothing more.

Bizarrely short-sighted. How else do you plan to build numbers? Who else is spontaneously materialising for you to recruit? What other groups of converts are knocking your door down? Disgruntled Lib Dems? Get many ex-Tories or Reformers begging to be allowed to join and boost your ranks?
