Now that we're looking at the threat of Trump ignoring the US commitment to NATO, the bump in defence spending has to come from somewhere. It will take time to overhaul tax policy at HMRC and Ukraine needs help now. We won't be doing any ID in future if Putin wins or gets a peace deal on his terms.

Brexit, Rwanda, not respecting international agreements, treatment of refugees, hollowing out of diplomatic service, growth of China, Russia etc in this space, only 0.2% spent abroad.
