I got to meet Tobin Bell recently at a convention. He was very nice and considerate with everyone, even some very pushy people.
Saw 10 is probably one of the best in the franchise. I would hate to see it be the last when it was so good. Was hoping they would get 11 and 12 to be really solid.
I was pleasantly surprised by the arc. I avoided watching them for ages because torture porn isn't my thing, but a friend sat me down to educate me. When I had plot complaints, he made me stick with them - it was explained! Hadn't seen most recent 2 but definitely think the series is worth a shot
I'm sad that the 'Hazbin Hotel' fandom doesn't have more 'Saw' and horror genre-inspired works in it, though the works of @trashkingroth.bsky.social and @qin-gu.bsky.social help alleviate that! I've also seen some fantastic crossovers with SCP.
There have been enough saw movies. Saw Saw 10 in theaters and it completely disappointed me, it felt like the director was squeamish. I'm excited for the A24 backrooms movie though.
I have a whole bunch of new grudges they could use for the plot. Maybe Jigsaw trying to use the IRS helpline to do his taxes? His mother not getting her social security check? People laughing at his new Cybertruck?
Yeah 6 definitely had something (very topical) to say. Why it’s viewed as one of the better sequels. I would argue 10 continued that narrative about corruption in healthcare in another way too.

When Tobin Bell is the only thing holding the franchise up (That and the traps). It becomes daunting when he unfortunately passes away, the franchise is going with him.
Ehh....I think it's for the best they end this franchise and start anew.....Tobin Bell is not getting younger and they already stretched his life far enough

A number of the SAW films are solidly plotted, but 6 felt personal--someone had something to say and it added some umph.
