I hear you, but it’s just don’t buy anything on Shopify.

The company I own and our family personally have stopped shopping with Amazon.

We’ll be adding Shopify to that list.

I run my store on Ko-fi! No listing fees and lower point of sale fees than Etsy. You do have to push all your own traffic, but that's the same as with a customized Shopify storefront.

They charge a lot of mystery service charges, can take close to 20% of an artists sale, will suddenly ban shops and you won’t be able to reach a person to find out what’s happened because everything is automated, have said they will allow AI art, and more. They’re very anti-artist.

One of the easiest ways to tell if a site is using Shopify is to check the URL. Shopify stores will always have .myShopify.com in the URL

2. Look for the Shopify logo
