I've actually stopped going to the "canteen" for coffee because I'm fed up trying to correct their egregious mistakes. I had to go this morning and topic of conversation was every British company would now be employing Indians so they don't have to pay NI.

What happenend to the tories will happen to Labour. They can trumpet this stuff as much as they want, but in the end they'll be judged on economic results. Starmer needs a significant econonomic boost and this isn't it.

I caught a question from Peston to Starmer about the US 'deal' being insignificant against lost EU trade and he said that he believed that we could have a good trade relationship with the US and the EU. This kind of meaningless tosh is a big problem with the debate, like 'make brexit work'.

I've lost count of the number of articles, from ostensibly "balanced" sources as well as Brexity headbangers, quoting the £4.8billion from the India trade deal as a "benefit of Brexit" without mentioning the £140 billion cost of being outside the SM/CU. Wilful suspension of reality. Utterly bonkers.
