After centuries of frustration and failure, this is what I do now: (1) fold the flat sheet; (2) fold one of the pillow cases; (3) fold the fitted sheet into an oblong-ish mass; (4) stack the oblong on the folded flat sheet & top w/pillow case; (5) stuff the trio into the 2nd pillow case = linen set!

My dad spent time in the CDN Navy, and he folds fitted sheets incredibly well. He does Hospital Corners when he puts the sheet on a bed too. I just roll them up into a sort of fitted sheet ball and hope I can stuff them into my linen closet.
