You know, I just saw an Ontario elections ad on youtube, saying get out and vote either before or on February 27th (the election date). All I could think of was that I felt so disconnected from it all, I know it's happening, but I haven't done anything that I normally do to be prepped to vote. - ThreadSky

That's a fair assessment, we know that historically it's really difficult to win a third time in the province, that it last happened decades ago.

Plus the timing with what I call "dougie bucks" aka the $200 "rebate" to Ontarians probably was part of the strategy too.

Oh, definitely (to be fair, I feel like the feds were planning the same thing when they announced the GST holiday, but for some reason voters only seem to have a problem with the feds)

That might be true but also the liberal party imploded, and truthfully I don't feel like the NDP were ready, not that I have seen that much from them in a while.

It seems like they've almost disappeared at least in the spaces I would see advertisements in

And the only thing I can think of is that I've just lost a lot of motivation to do anything and I need to get that back, somehow...
