Quick question, what is the mount base your using at attach your HEQ5 to the tripod? It doesn’t appear to be what comes from sky watcher. I damaged the threading beyond repair on mine and need to replace it.

Hi, the mount is an EQ6 and it's a replacement wedge that was made by Axiom Astro. I bought that a while back from https://www.modernastronomy.com in the UK. If you can find one I highly recommend it. Polar alignment is much easier and it's built like a tank.
