I've seen a combination of militant demos, anti-cop journalism and general vicious mockery online and off get about 40% of the police force here to quit and stay gone for the past five years. It ain't nothing.

But they noted what we are loathe to note because it's so thin: the liberal support.

That is to say there really is *some degree* of influence from public opinion, mass media narrative play, institutional maneuvering, etc, and these can intersect productively with direct action, dual power, exploits, generalized insurgency, etc.

...there is some degree of truth to the analysis the neoreactionaries made. Just as liberals benefit from our attention to material things, we do often benefit from the existence of lib lawyers, journalists, nonprofits, etc. They betray us, yes, but there is also some degree of positive feedback.

Anyway, the rank-and-file of conservatism is completely brainwormed with absurd misunderstandings of radical activists, as paid protesters, etc. See Elon's declarations re USAID. But the smarter ones planned to destroy the nonprofit sector precisely to cripple the supports we forget we lean on.

i personally haven't encountered many people suggesting this except for hard-line anarchists and nihilists. the problem is that even when these tools are utilized by liberals in less dire times, they are used exclusively with no meaningful follow-up or plans on how to hold anyone accountable.
