Yakuza 0 was the first one I played, and it's still the one I like the best. Basically feels like they took all the good parts from the previous games and stuffed them into one game. Also the backstory for majima was great, prob my favorite part of the game other than kuze lol

it's definitely a good starting point! tho, it's much more "beginner-friendly" than FE6 is. would highly recommend FE8.

for the modern games, id recommend awakening/three houses/fates (tho, FE3H is sort of an outlier in terms of gameplay)

avoid until you're more experienced with the series bc it's the most difficult entry(tied to FE4's story which funnily is one of the "easier" entries)

FE5's mechanics can be very punishing to newer players (esp if played blind)
