Jumping on informally as the publisher who has just moved JHI over, we have been thinking about it for a while but this form of communication is something I am personally quite interested in so I've tested the water with my own account. Others are more cautious (and often don't have a comms team...)

Plus there's the additional work of crossposting and not being able to use Bluesky on Hootsuites etc. yet. I'd say reference Bluesky in conference presentations etc. like you used to do for Twitter, and if you bump into publishers and editors have that conversation!

I am not too familiar with Hootsuite, and I'm sure you have systems extensively setup, but I've found @fedica.com to be a great multi-platform social media scheduling service.

Just a heads up. You can use a domain in the handle which acts as a sort of verification as copycats will not be able to use the domain name when attempting to impersonate.
