Any person interested in the creative process should read of listen to Al Pacino’s memoir “Sonny Boy”. His audiobook reading is amazing. And the book is so inspiring, honest and entertaining. My review.

Hey Ben, I can't find the name of the movie you were in; where you were jumping into the glass window at like a skyrise place. Please refresh my memory 🤔
It's rare that an actor gives a performance in this form as well as he did. Hopefully will be done more when possible, especially when the subject is so personal for the artist.
This. 100%. To hear him tell his story, explain his process...yes the audiobook is amazing. There is so much there I listened twice. I have recommended it to so many people.
I understand he focuses almost exclusively on his work with a few asides. Never really understood the acting process, but I could think of worse places to start than Al Pacino.
Audible’d the book the moment it became available. Pacino’s spoken word felt like after dinner with a port, a fireplace and our friend Al telling great stories of his youth.
Get the audiobook. He reads it himself, and it is an awesome experience to hear him reflect back on his life and his journey as an artist. There is so much there I listened twice.
Just grabbed it. Thx!
Enjoying Cher’s memoir, part 1. Fantastic details and honest recount of the era and the people that shaped her life. “Reading” memoirs is a Christmas tradition. Left a list previously.
Thanks so much for letting us know. I love hearing about actors and how they create characters and situations for themselves. Everyone has their own process.
What eeeee-if…(just hear me out)… .. ….. .

.. I wasn’t that interested, but I Can’t Shut It Off
I’ve lit tried everything.
I can’t help it. If it’s not creative, my mind rambles on about science/how to make something better(w/no $🤣)eventually I crash, til then tho fml😂
I am in the midst of listening to it and it is a great read. It's like sitting across the room from him listening to his life story/stories. Highly recommend.
Fun fact : my dad told
Me a story about the time he made a kid named Sonny cry on the stickball field (where current Yankee stadium is built on) , after striking him out and then catching the ball that got hurled at him point blank.
Sonny is Al Pacino. Have no reason to not believe it
With the right narrator, audiobooks are pure magic. Along those lines, Sissy Spacek reading To Kill a Mockingbird. Read along if you can, normal speed. You’ll be transported.

If yes: OMG, I like the movies you play in
Duplex, Meet the Parents, Along Came Polly, TSAM, ect.
Eitherway, I am your fan Ben
