What worries me is that Starmer may decide the status quo can be reestablished. That, I think, would be a huge mistake.
Though that will surely hit them a lot harder than us as they are going to need to keep buying most of it.

Labour and EU are having a summit next month.. pretty sure trade will be part of it
The UK's intelligence and military capability is heavily intertwined with the USA. Trump is a childish, thin-skinned man-baby who may cut that off out of spite if he's provoked.
Separating from the USA, without putting the country's safety in serious danger, cannot be done overnight, hence Starmer's caution at present.
