i made a chinese food inspired meal, and asked my mom how it was:
mom: “well, it tastes chinese-y”
me: “in a good way or a bad way?”
mom: *deadpan* “i’ve only taken one bite and my mouth is on fire”
my mom then ranked it 9/10 & docked me a point bc i didn’t include a fortune cookie 🥠
