Oh my gosh. I haven't even seen any GO artist receiving such a thing before, ever, and I'm confused but most of all I'm very, very sorry. And glad that I was able to buy the affirmation cards, the artbook and some other items. Please stay strong.

It’s been going on for a few years now, us fandom artists had to get creative with tags and euphemisms. “Effable husbands” is the main tag we use that gets around things & has worked for a few years as they don’t own it, but it does show up when people search “ineffable” 😉

This happened with Critical Role prior their animated series amazon launch and selling official merch in stores. They were even required to stop displaying fan art during their stream, which they'd done for years. This is almost certainly Prime/BBC. TPE could've come for fans years ago and didn't.

As Phoenix said, it's almost certainly due to the shop opening soon and licensing. I'm definitely no expert, but the Critical Role cast were incredibly straight up with the fandom and even did a livestream to explain the legalities of what was happening, why, and how it was out of their hands.

Yeah got two of my drawings reviewed and deleted because of that too (in dec and in feb). The last one I put didnt have any GO mention. The title was "Bookshop Passion" and got flagged. (There was a book in the drawing titled Good Omens).

One way to get around it is by having a table at a convention and selling there.
