who was bi. It sounded cool to be bi and I wanted to be bi too. I didn't realize at the time it was like a life-upending identity. Seriously, it took me a while to understand how important it was and what it meant to be queer. In my defense I was raised in a rural area and never heard of it before!

started asking me very specific list of questions. I remember that those were very nice questions that made me think about myself and by the end of that questionaire we came to the conclusion I might be ace as well. So I adopted the label but like usual I felt like an impostor with it once again.

For 3 years I felt like a fake in ace community who doesn't belong there, until my thick idiotic skull finally realized that the fact that my experience doesn't match experiences of other ace people doesn't mean shit. My experience is mine alone and we are all unique in our aceness. It liberated me.
