Stalking the Atomic City by Markiyan Kamysh
This was described as "Hunter S. Thompson visits Chernobyl" I knew that would tell you if you were going to like this, and I knew I would.
This book is short (I read it in one sitting), wild and fascinating. Well worth picking up.

I found this book slow, dull and racist.
Not one I'll be recommending.
The story in Finn is much better and follows a more interesting narrative but is plagued with racism and because of that makes it a very difficult read and impossible to enjoy.
Finn Family Moomintroll is the third book in the series, but was the first to be translated into English.
The Moomin books are sweet and weird - just like booksellers. If you've never read one, please do, they're lovely.
This book is just as fantastic as everyone has been saying, but be prepared that there will obviously be some horrible and upsetting scenes in this book but they are used to make an impact rather than titillate. This book is definitely deserving of the hype.
As with any anthology, you end up preferring some stories to others while you read them and then others tick the right amount of creepy that means you find your mind is drawn back to certain nightmarish images you had conjured while reading.
