Waterman says there "could be an argument" to transfer the case to Louisiana, too, where Khalil is right now.
Judge: "I have rejected that argument in the past."
"Mr. Khalil was taken at night as he was returning home here in NYC he was moved 1000 miles away to Louisiana after a habeas petition was filed with this court… raises significant constitutional concerns."
Kassem says the facility won't let him talk to Khalil for a privileged, legal call until March 20.
For now, Khalil stays in Louisiana.
