There are some very important and world-changing jobs I vaguely aspire to do, but there's nothing really I want to do so much as design the pretend digital products and services that appear on TV shows. Genuinely the dream.

It is literally the ideal product dev job because it only has to work in exactly the imagined scenarios and can have loads of fun additional features that don't affect performance
A thing that looks like a phone operating system but is very slightly different. A new search engine. A mega multi-screen dashboard. All of the fun and none of the consequences.

It’s an interesting horror movie (currently on Netflix in the UK) where everything is a little off: “What year are we in? What season are we in? Why is there constantly something walking towards me in the rear of the frame?”
