hate hate hate the idea of Mario traveling the multiverse in a 3D game. the 3D Mario’s are some of the most creative games in the franchise and acting like it’s out of ideas sucks

I think this is fake, don’t get me wrong. But I don’t think a bit of a crossover in a game would be as devastating to the brand as it may seem.

I mean, we get a healthy amount of crossover not just in Mario, but Mario in other things. If it make sense, it’s not a big deal.

Actlly it’s more so rooted in wanting the lesser series to have more eyes and attention and throwing them in Mario will “fix” that. I always hated the idea of using the bigger IP a marketing campaing for the smaller ones tbh. Just let em stand on their own two feet by being good games

haven't watched yet but a rumor like this feels like it's 100% piggybacking off of the excitement surrounding astrobot. "Nintendo saw x company do y so now they want to do z which is similar to y!!! coming next year" feels like a genre of rumor that happens every other year lol
