I had a few characters I remember fondly - The Taupe Toxophilite (Beige Arrow), Cormoran (big giant dude), Doctor Mesmer (Mind controller who's willpower became superhuman when he gave up smoking)...

I made a Leprechaun character (green clothes, red hair, magic powers) and maxed out the height bar on him.

He left his village to become a hero in the city because they all picked on him for being too tall.

You can choose a monstrous head that's kinda wolf-like and kinda bear-like and call yourself Bear Arms (an assault rifle blaster, of course), no problem.
