Sometimes I thought about how mutants make progress only for a
a setback to change and delay everything. Sometimes by author, sometimes editor.
Now, the bleak stories where mutants are picked off or a phenomenon that came and went creeps into my mind and I understand how fragile this all really is.
I know a lot of trans people had escape plans for southern states, should matters get out of hand.
Matters appear to be out of hand.
I'm just praying all my trans friends stateside are safe.
You literally voted for someone who has been credibly accused of rape by a 13 year old girl; who was a frequent visitor to Epstein's island; and said he wants to fuck his own daughter.
You should realize that trans people are far more likely to be victims of violence, rather than perpetrators.

And it’ll get so much worse. I keep thinking “so many people are going to die,” which was the first thing that entered my mind when he won in 2016. And boy was I right. :(
I had lots of expectations but they sunk lower than I had imagined. And I tried to stay disconnected and away from it all; really glad I didn’t engage more.
I know that for me & many of my brothers & sisters, today marks a low point in our society.
As I meditated on MLK, I see that we already have the map 4 peaceful resistance & a path to justice. These words ring true regardless of political stance.
No one would ever accept this in a comic. Too unrealistic, too fantastical.
And that’s from an Olde Fart who still believes in Superman and “truth, justice and the American Way” after 65 years.
This is what really gets me. I was prepared for blatant bigotry from Cheeto and his sycophants. I was not prepared for an organization whose literal job it is to name and combat antisemitism to roll over for them, or at least not do it so damn quickly.
As in, are you saying it's worse because of that? I'm not greeting you with a Nazi salute, feel like you need to specify this kind of things nowadays, somehow...
