Keep in mind this is to distract from real issues so they could rally people around the shared cause of hating trans people. If you convince people the minority they already don't like is to blame for all the issues, they don't have to fix those issues, just target an already hated group.

Transsexuals (aside from the sex aspect, which they always hate) are just the most obvious iteration of that non-conformity.
It IS, however, used by those in power as a distraction. If they can get the rubes (how they view the general populace) to villify anyone perceived to be different, the rubes won't notice that those in power are the ones whose boots are at their throats.
But you’re handling the criticism with a level of grace I rarely see on social media and just wanted you to know that I find that awesome.
More importantly, we all recognize and agree that transphobia is awful.
