Follow principles of data backup; multiple discrete sources.
Light - handcrank flashlight, battery glowstick, chem glowstick
Fire - waterproof matches, stick lighter, flint firestarter
Water - Bottled water, canteen, purification tablets or lifestraw (I have the latter for ease of use)

Food - Basic supply of dense high calorie stuff to get through; if planning for extended, camping pots and stove and fuel source; small salt and pepper!
Comms - radio (my crank flashlight is a combo radio); backup cell can be good; chargers
Misc - Duct tape, plastic tubing, knife, ziploc bags, little clips, cash, backup credit card, backup docs on encrypted drv
May not be related, but some supplies for "one bag travel" could be good, too: a Flexoline for hanging laundry, laundry detergent sheets, collapsible bucket/pot.
Flexoline is a good call too.
But again: I'm not an expert. I'm just an indoor cat doing their best to make sure I'm good to go.
