I agree about civics lessons, but surely it's Mail reading boomers rather than young people that are the problem? Unless you have a time machine giving civics lessons isn't going to help the ignorance of the adult population.

Nobody anywhere knows how anything works and we're all just winging it. Any attempts at any kind of order keep ending up in disasters and it will keep happening as long as humans exist.

Sadly you’d have to have teachers who want that and sadly the profession has leant to the right

To the extent I worked with a citizenship lead who was UKIP candidate and was banned from GAB
