Brewdog's founders are a great case study in how quickly wrong'uns fall down rabbit holes when they're called out on their BS. Started with some relatively minor criticisms of how they treat staff and now they're going full on Musk.

James Watt is as unsavoury as much of their so-called craft beer. I will never forget the way he treated those poor interviewees on that BBC documentary a few years ago. Or, of course, pretty much any of his behaviour since.
My 2p is that being the focus of even a mild twitter storm (as we used to call them) is traumatic and it would be worth studying. People come out of them either cowed or doubling down. It's like we've collectively invented a spell to mutate dickheads into actual baddies.
Yep, I don’t think Graham Linehan was disliked by even a fraction of a percent of people until he started making his opinions on trans known in the media and then defending it so staunchly. Mind you he didn’t help by focussing on Count Arthur Strong IMHO.
He was always online in a very unhealthy way. His behaviour reminds me of dozens of messageboard meltdowns I've witnessed. The difference there was old school forums tended to have a narrow reach and were far more anonymous.
he used to qt bad takes from low follower accounts to dunk on them with a photo of himself on the shitter, completely naked. that's not a man with a healthy relationship to posting
It can't be a coincidence that all of them have turned from idealistic lefties to borderline Powells after being taken down a peg by women. Musk, Brand, Watt....
All little boys whose petulant response to being called out is "F*ck everyone else; I'm all about me now"

Vocation, Northern Monk, Beavertown, Purity, ...
Heineken's emergency push into craft beer via Bevertown is where I would put my guess on the main actors.
