too late, first it was get rid of paper bags, get rid of glass, get rid of plastic, then it was drink bottled water, then it was use a lead infested cup. How about bags made of HEMP and ONLY Hemp and only GLASS bottles, circle jerk I swear to GOD!
Ever notice that every time the oligarchy has to inform us of the method of poisoning this time… that it costs the public lots of money trying to reduce or avoid exposure or find a means to bind and purge the substance- EVERY FUCKING TIME. Tax those fuckers
Government regular is so far behind here. Single use plastics that don’t biodegrade shouldn’t be a thing.
The government should guide the market through tax incentives - biodegradable/other alternatives - and disincentives - heavy taxation of single use and toxic plastics.
Ayyyy my company developed the kit used in a lot of these studies.
While the problem is massive in scale, it's important to remember that there is a lot you can do to prevent them from getting into your body, many of which are inexpensive.
Microplastics are everywhere—unseen but causing huge harm. Our leaders should be focusing on solutions, not ignoring this disaster. We can’t afford to let big corporations continue to pollute with no accountability. Clean air, clean water—this should be a priority!
So how many of these particles are in my penis, that's all I care about. I did hear that they can stay in a man penis so THAT'S the real news we need to hear! 😀
If the impacts were bad we'd all be dead already. We've all been eating, drinking, and breathing in microplastics since polyester fiber, synthetic rubber, tupperware, vinyl, and baggies were invented. Replacing those with natural fibers, latex, waxed paper and glass would not be easy nor cheap.
Maybe if companies didn't put everything in single use plastic containers, or feed plastic to our livestock, or dump plastic into the ocean, but nah that couldn't be it.
Man, I wish these so called experts will make up their minds. 1st it was plastic is good for shipping, storing, reusing... blah blah. So we moved from glass, tin/aluminum, paper bags and cardboard bc that was bad for shipping and killing the planet. So, what is the recommendation for alternatives?
This is why we need Universal healthcare and why the companies and corporations that profit from the use of plastics, has a responsibility for paying for it.
I grew up in the '70s in a Third World Country and there was hardly any plastic that touched our food. Even today, I avoid using straws to drink as I think it's idiotic. My wife uses straws in restaurants because the glass rim maybe dirty but guess which part of the glass is probably dirtiest??
