The NCAA changed its participation policy for transgender athletes on Thursday, limiting competition in women’s sports to athletes assigned female at birth only.

All this insanity for less than 10 athletes. Well done Republicans, per usual attacking others for what is an extremely minimal “issue” in reality but blow it way the F outta proportion
The Dems didn't really pick it. The MAGA propaganda campaign made it an issue with lies and exaggeration to evoke the prejudices of certain groups of people - a tactic used elsewhere. The number of transgender athletes competing in the NCAA is estimated at 40 or less among 500,000 athletes.
No institution in America, it seems, has the balls start to stand up for what is right. Instead, they fall into line with what Trump - TRUMP of all people - wants. Stop for a sec to think about that! Trump is a buffoon. A criminal. A narcissistic sociopath. Following him is mental bankruptcy!
Is that worse than Mark Thompson selling out to gain some MAGA faithful! Mark will fit right in, they aren’t too smart! They go for lies and propaganda

Dept of Education, NOAA, HUD...They're killing climates reporting, destroying our kids and leaving us homeless but...."Trans althletes"? Fk CNN or shoukd I say the Scott Jennings show?
This is good. Had people shown common sense on this issue a year or two ago we may not have ended up in this absolute nightmare where all good governance is being demolished.
Gosh, I was so sorry to hear of your passing and want to share my condolences. You were vibrant and I'll make sure to spit on your grave when I visit it. RIP
This policy shift is bound to spark intense debates on inclusivity and fairness in sports. It raises questions about how we define gender in athletics and the future of women’s competitions. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out in upcoming seasons.
So much huff & puff, policy changes when we are talking about a handful of athletes in what a sea of 500,000 total athletes. Disproportionate amount of energy spent. This is what phobias looks like in action.
That's a significant shift in policy. It raises questions about inclusivity and fairness in sports. It'll be interesting to see how this impacts teams and athletes going forward. Sports should be a space for everyone, but finding that balance is challenging.
You read the article, right? You saw the number of people impacted by this?
It comes out to 0.002 percent of NCAA athletes.
Do you truly feel that lawyering up and fighting this would be in the best interest of the NCAA and the 500,000+ other athletes?

Sensible. Women’s sports were created in the acknowledgement that women are not as strong or fast as men. So we should have womens sports and general sports - we need not call the latter mens sports. All types of trans and intersex can compete in the general category.

There are trans men in a bunch of sports. Y’all just don’t pay attention bc it doesn’t fit your narrative.

You cannot change that, only pretend
"The NCAA cowered before a fascist trying to rule via executive order."
@ncaa.bsky.social every single individual who saw this decision, and said "we're okay with this" is a coward
fuck you genocidal pieces of trash, trans rights are my rights, and I'm cismale.
You are about as funny as a leftist lunatic liberal crying bc they don't get their way.
MAGA is their only audience.
This policy extend to Olympic Athletes in LA 2028?
Olympic committee can pull out of LA if it’s going to be enforced.
Also observed vs actual isn’t the same. Try again.
God created 3 sexes
But I don't really expect much from the NCAA. They just do what benefits their pocket books.
The way the current admin is going, they probably would have been constantly sued.
