A measles outbreak in Texas has grown to 159 cases, and the CDC says it is now on the ground in that state to respond. The agency posted on X that it’s partnering with the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Repeating history... just like Covid, people are dying and 🤔🙄. This time the most exposed are the kids. May God bring health and show the leaders light dealing with this epidemic.🙏
Wow. Are parents really this irresponsible? Or do they think this makes them look cool. No. It makes them look pretty dumb in fact. What are they hoping for? Another child death?
That news is a matter of weak immunity, but I think measles-mumps-rubella vaccine is a proven tens of years old vaccine, & is very differnt than covid vaccines being tried upon people with STUPID&INHUMAN mandates since only 2021! With no mandate, I believe measles vaccines are safe to be applied.
Wake up, people.
Innocent kids are getting sick from the measles outbreak, and sadly, one has died. I pray that we don't have any more deaths.
Kennedy has touted many times that vaccines are unsafe. They are safe.
A distant memory...
Measles was declared eliminated in the U.S. in 2000.
Why, it's a waste of time to try and reason with people who believe there will be eternally destined for hell if they get a vaccine, it's useless, stop spending money on useless shit.
Too many ignorant people refusing vaccines altogether because of unfounded fear that they will injure their children's health. Pseudoscience has linked vaccines to Autism. Unfortunately, in trying to protect their children, parents are actually increasing their risk of injury and death.
Before the measles vaccine was introduced in 1963, between 2.6 million and 6 million people died from measles each year worldwide. In the United States, about 450 people died from measles each year.
And between Cruz and RFK, this isn't a major issue. Thank you, Texas, for being so shitty and money hungry. You really keep showing us we don't matter as citizens.
Bobby is promoting vitamin A, cod liver oil, and a steroid with vaccination as an afterthought.
The latter isn't top on his list because many people don't want them.
Yes, Bobby, you fucking psychopath. You're a major reason they're controversial.
If you were to send your child outside in blizzard conditions without clothes, you'll have your child taken away. Common sense, preventable child neglect. Yet allowing exposure to a know disease with proven preventable measures is just fine.
Can't wait for the American self-extinction.
We will experience this callous incompetence resulting in needless suffering and death with each outbreak, each disease. I see a section of white crosses springing up on the Mall which will be named Kennedy Lawn. Trump has allowed an unwell man drag a great name into damnation. Trump’s legacy.

Nothing like a little outbreak on home turf to help change MAGA stances.

Sheesh.
Another unqualified trump pick.

CDC was already understaffed before there layoffs.
