All these racist, homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic, truth-burying fake Christians are going to hell in a hand basket. Did I miss anything? I’m exhausted. #resist
Live and let live too complicated for folks. We gotta get ontological on that stuff like the biological sex is some endangered species we have to protect. Cis people of bluesky, do you fear for your freedom to express your identity and sexuality? Like, ever?
JK Rowling must be thrilled that her government has validated her intolerance. Why do they feel so threatened by how some of their citizens identify themselves ?
You can identify yourself in your personal life however you want. But hospitals, government documents etc need the actual information of how you were born
Why would the gov need to know how I identify? Yes I am male but this feels like a witch hunt to weed out certain groups like Hitler did and certain other countries during world war 2. History repeating itself and it is sad. Our grandparents faught to prevent this.
Anytime someone compares anything to Hitler and Nazis i immediately cannot take you seriously. It's embarrassing how easy it has become to try and use one of the worst times in human history as a comparison for anything you don't like.
It’s not easy at all to compare history at all. But if you honestly look at the parallels in history, and what is happening, we are repeating it. Conestration camps for illegals, mass witch hunts for anyone who is different. If you’re not frightened, you should be.
Exactly. Just for practical purposes, when a person is asked to identify someone (such as in a criminal case), you describe what you see. This reeks of transphobia and persecution of trans people.
I can understand hospitals needing to know a person's biology for medical reasons but the government doesn't need to know who a person WAS any more than they need to know other aspects of who they were like weight or hair color, . When they have to identify a person, they need to know who they ARE.
That seems extremely dangerous where absolutely anyone can say "this is who i am now" at anytime with no questions asked. Let's live in reality, you need that info to identify people
Dangerous for who? Who is effected negatively by identifying a person as they are? Do you identify a grown ass adult by a picture of them as a toddler? You don't NEED to know who someone was as a child. .... unless you have an unnatural curiosity about their genitalia.
So now we are only allowing people to change who they are if they do it at a certain age? So at 30, you can just change and they don't need to know any info about you, like say your heath card?
It will, sooner than later. Maybe when they have time they can tell us what it means to be human, & what the definition of “you” is. Maybe if you ignore people, they go away… #StuckOnStupid UK

You can it so explain after the Tibetan belief system. You can be reborn in a male or female body. Also, as a trans, you can be male or female by your spirit, but you have also the advantage or disadvantage of a male or female body.
In Norway, we have an equality- and anti- discrimination act for gender (female/male), and one for gender identity/expression. Be like Norway and give trans people their own anti-discrimination act!
That is actually a really interesting idea. Both women and trans people are protected, without one group or the other feeling slighted, which is often not the case.
Good. Biological men shouldn’t be housed with cis women inmates. Sorry, but they’re probably going to find women attractive. Lesbian sex already goes on. Sex with guards. Just another one I guess.
Are you saying that transexuals who identify as women should be housed in men's prisons ? Have a look at some images and consider whether there is likelihood of sexual abuse ?
This ruling opens up a complex debate about gender identity and equality rights. It’s crucial to consider the implications for both women's rights and the rights of trans individuals. Conversations about inclusivity and legal definitions are more important than ever.

It could be a way to make things happen without forcing more conflicts.
In this context, you can't have a contradiction.
Yeah, waiting for an Einstone (Stein = German; stone = English ;)) to escape it. Like, it's relative....
Ein = German; One = English ;)
