I have a big problem with all these "looking to switch from Adobe? Here's 300 alternative programs, 98% which are not reliable replacements for professional work.
It all buy guarantees the person looking at the list will stick with Adobe.
That's fair People don't always have the same needs from the line of programs Adobe provides.
A more presentable version of this is the website AlternativeTo where people have actually rated, commented etc. and you can pick your needs with tags.
Or if you look at the first reply to the original message you see a thread with the list of alternatives that I landed on for professional use, have tested and recommend.
In other word it’s costing them too much to operate so everyone get opted in whether they want it or not. Instead of saying, “huh this isn’t profitable maybe we should end it.”
I’ve not had any Adobe software for well over a decade. I’m sure it’s very clever and all but PixelmatorPro does everything I need and cost a one-off couple of hundred bucks IIRC. Ditto Microsoft. I’ve got VS code installed but that’s my only MS product. Pages is a brilliant word processor and free.
