Judging by ours - at least 50 years - yes, very. They are massive trees that we prune savagely every now and again.

Yeah, I saw a HUGE one (10-15m?) in Whanganui, and some very tall ones in their native forests in Brazil. The oldest one I found I could date (in Italy) was more wide than tall but very sprawling
