Ideally you would own a whole original collection of your favourite retro games but why is there a huge problem with people who emulate? Not everyone has the money to collect nowdays and it's better to play the games than not, right?

I personally don't have a problem with it, I'm all for emulation, as you stayed it's the only way I'm going to be able to play those games. The shout for physical collection has been ruined by reseller content creators which has led to a stupid increase in prices.
I’m desperate for an Amiga but just priced out right now. Got the A500 and I’m enjoying games I haven’t played for years. There’s something missing tho. The sound of it loading, the keyboard and the smell. And the R.E.M. cassettes next to it.

Old abandoned games for unsupported systems deserve to be played. Emulation supports this - Sealed unopened box copies on collector's shelves do not.
