You need less than two yards and you call a boom/bust running play, then run it to the narrow side where your RB doesn't have enough space. One of the worst playcalling decisions I can recall
I hate heavy formations on the goal line. Go 4 wide in a pistol and let the back find the hole or start 3 wide and motion the H-back outside. Don't condense everything into an 8 foot box.
Pretty sure OSU would've been fine with getting the ball in a tied game with 3+ minutes left. Admittedly, I'm an Eagles fan so anything but pushing the QB forward and stupid to me...
The guy had Jake Locker, who was built to be a red zone bulldozer and scored 13 rushing touchdowns as a freshman, and didn’t use him like a full back playing quarterback. He only scored 13 more TDs that entire Sark regime running.
Gonna go down in history books but no matter how many times it doesn’t fucking work, some big brain OC will cost their team a victory calling it again, and again. Makes ZERO sense.
I’m a Michigan fan and am very familiar with that approach. No doubt in my mind we would ram it down their throats four straight times. But not everyone is built like us, Texas doesn’t have a fullback, but it does have a 230lb running QB that’s used to coming in and carrying the ball. Just do that!!

And...
Giving up a TD on a freaking dump-off end-of-half screen pass (never happened before, never happen again) is the one that makes me more angry.
Julio Jones could do only so much ... 😭
And then that happened 😳
