omg honestly i draw so lightly on my tablet and ipad that i have trouble even just using a pencil and paper now haha. half my strokes don't show up lmao
Weirdly transferring to dip pens did the same for me. With microns i used so much pressure without realizing it, but nibs require you to be real light with your lines. My hands and wrists feel so much better now haha
yeaaah i think that might be part of it too, i used dip pens all through high school before i started doing digital, so i haven't really used microns as my main tool ever, and now when i try it just feels really hard!
I was excited about the early surface tablets back in the day, but I tested one and knew right away that the pen would pulverize the tendons in my hand and wrist. The activation pressure was absurdly high.
