I do remember a while back their management freaking out at the turnover and injury rates because they were afraid of literally running out of people to use up. This serve as reminder that big business will literally kill us to make a buck if they can.

I figured it out actually.
There is a third thing in between correlation and causation, called Relation.
Relationships are parts of complex systems. And instead of confirmation biasing for or against, or strawmanning, people need to realize sometimes fundamentally to improve understanding.
