Chris, thanks for highlighting our Chicago's very own Mike. The Reader is like nothing else, and he was a force of nature keeping it going. We are proud of our media here and think our non-profit model might be one that others should consider.

I lived in Chicago during the 80s and 90s heyday of the Reader. After the turn of the Millennium it slowly changed and not for the better sadly. Not Mike Miber's fault though. A sad day.

I'm happy to go further and say, pregnant women should be given 2 votes as they are voting for 2 humans.

Children should also be allowed to vote starting at age 14 if they are required to work in those red states.
