Sometimes shit has to be irreparably broken into a million pieces so something better can be built. Holding onto optimism our democracy will not only survive, but be modernized with more firewalls in place.

One of the only ways to stop the hemorrhaging from the Trump era damage will be to re-prioritize expertise, experience, intelligence, and mental stability. We forget that there are people whose job is to make sure the freeways are safe, our food is not poisoned and our money maintains its value to a remarkable degree.
