Scott’s a fantastic one for that list - rationality from Essendon’s decision makers is bordering on I’ll believe it when I see it territory imo. Can see the ex player types ripping in each week if they go under (particularly after the last 2 seasons)

Yeah. Does feel very much the case for Goodwin and Bevo at those lines. Despite both being premiership coaches plenty of pundits (bizarrely) believe they've under achieved and will be only to happy to turn the heat up

I was all all four of them!

The 2022 ones were explainable due to a combo of being worked out and senior players being stuffed but 2023 was savage. Revisionist history is Brayshaw concussion but that last quarter v Blues was a slow motion train crash to lose with 8 more scoring shots

We absolutely win a final if Brayshaw doesn’t get injured. What kills me is taking Gawn into the semi with a broken foot, having Schache as the sub, and never activating him.
