We’ve got a very good squad but Farke was right about lacking a 10, which is looking like a big oversight as the season wears on. Have to hope that two teams don’t break away at the top of the league again before we can try to fix it in January, assuming we can. #lufc

Mad how much we build even more expectation by indulging other people telling us we’re the best team in the league & what a formality promotion it is, like it’s the first time they’ve ever seen Championship football before. Very few easy games, especially with the congested fixture list. #lufc

Me either I just think people are underestimating how effective teams like Sheff Utd, Burnley & Boro are amongst others. That’s three teams right there who could easily finish above us if we keep dropping points away like this.

Hamer. If we’d have managed to get him we’d have done so much for our chances and damaged Sheff Utd’s. If £5m extra fee for him is the difference between finishing 1st/2nd or 3rd, that £5m would have been worth it.

The thing is they shouldn’t finish above us. Our squad is better than all 3 of those teams. Farke needs to find a way to be effective away from home. The sub situations at 70 minutes is also ridiculous. Every manager knows how we set up in minute 1 is the way we play for the next 70 minutes.

Sadly today showed why we probably won’t be automatically promoted . It was never going to be an easy match, but the niggle is that Blades and Burnley would have kept a clean sheet and got something from this type of game . And they will do that all season while we fritter away points
