If Audi says their cars use 10 liters per x km but it is actually close to 17 liters per x km, two thirds more, nobody would claim the result is unchanged. Or if a diet leads to weight loss of a third of the previously found target, etc.

The effect size has gone from astronomical to merely huge! 😂
Either way, it seems too good to be true. But I bet conventional antidepressants would also have huge effect sizes if we meta-analyzed open-label trials, which one could argue these psychedelic trials essentially are.
