At last. When I first started training in UK x years ago, it only ever was sterile gloves and no gown. But more importantly there were no preprepared packs with everything in it - so we only ever used what we needed and there was no wastage.

I think it would need endorsement from RCoA/Association of Anaesthetists for usual practice (gown) to change widely in the UK
