I worked with a colour specialist in the mid-1990s who was vehemently opposed to salmon. I think there may have been an incident or something. At the time I was in love with what I called "dusty pink". Got told off quite forcefully. Building ended up in olive tones with no warm colours to be seen.

I genuinely love the low-fi approach of the A4 printer chart blu-tacked to a wall. Gets the job done, and no need for fancy preparation or post-production. So once the captions are on you're good to go.
