There was a time (back in the first Trump term) when the Tesla CEO was in a feud with Trump and buying one of these cars was an anti-Trump signifier. My how times have changed.
Maybe, but at that time we already knew he was a domestic abuser, sex pest, racist, fraudster that cared more about his perception than the quality of the vehicles or the good of others. Being anti- trump was actually the odd factor in that case. 🤷♂️
The goal is to drive the brand value of his main source of wealth through the fucking floor. Anyone who doesn’t sell this week is going to have to sell for much less in the future. Don’t get caught holding the nazi bag.
I get the goal, but the value of the stock isn’t driven by resale value of the cars. Real people aren’t out selling vehicles they depend on at a loss unless they have to. Disagreeing vehemently with the owner of the company that made the vehicle isn’t enough of a reason to sell it.
Fully unrelated, I really like the design of your projectread website - super clean, looks really sharp. Did you use any common front end framework to build that out, or is it custom?
So collectively, you’re expecting/demanding that everybody who owns a Tesla to sell it at a significant loss, to lower the resale value of a Tesla, which doesn’t cause any meaningful harm to Musk. Seems like a pretty ineffective and expensive campaign.
If you bought a Model S back in 2012-2017ish, I think you get a pass.
The 2018 "Pedo Guy" is where doubt sets in, and anything post-2022 is basically either a) "I really am ignorant of politics", b) "I don't care, do you?", and/or c) "Seig heil! Heil Musk!"
We had one before, it was hit 😢 and we replaced it with the one with the new battery and it feels great! DV rides will ship too! We actually had ours shipped from Portland to Seattle for like $200.
The kindest reading of a Cybertruck purchase I can come up with is "they finally realized their children will (justifiably) never speak to them again, and they're taking it real bad."

Cybertruck? Ain't no way you didn't know.
